La Mohair started out of a passion to create beautiful and unique mohair garments. Only the finest, most luxurious KID Mohair is used in the caring production of all La Mohair products. Only locally sourced natural fibres are used to create the finest quality garments.
La Mohair’s small, personalised factory is situated in the heart of the Port Elizabeth’s CBD. La Mohair is labour intensive and supports the increased demand for job creation in the Eastern Cape by promoting hand-crafted garments specific to this province. African women from the community comprise the entire staff complement.

La Mohair’s name lies in excellent quality and finely manufactured extra soft kid mohair products.  We source all our yarn locally and therefore continue the cycle of giving back to the community as well as providing employment for previously disadvantaged African woman. 

All items will be shipped within 3-5 working days via Postnet or SAPO.

Should you wish to forego shipping costs you are welcome to collect all items directly from our factory.

Please note that any orders which are required to be shipped internationally please select the "Collect" option which will enable "Free Shipping" and arrange a courier at your own costs.

We do a thorough quality check before each garment leaves our factory.  However should there be a fault with your purchase, please let us know within 3 working days and we will gladly send you a discount voucher for your next purchase from La Mohair.  We do exchange faulty items that are returned within a max. of 5 working days, provided that the item is in the exact condition it was sent with tags attached and unworn.The exchange will be done once the item is received by La Mohair and inspected. The courier costs of the items sent back, will go to the buyer. Unfortunately we do not do any refunds.
