Hi, my name is Janet... I create - amongst other things - art, design, totems and sculptures inspired by biodiversity, natural cycles, memories and everyday moments - and is often experimental, diverse, process-based and intuitive. My work is handmade with love and kind intent, and when possible uses natural, organic and/or recycled/reclaimed materials. 

Nature is resilient and powerful, but the balance of ecosystems can be easily disrupted when the interconnectivity of all living creatures and processes are not respected. When even one species of insect or fungus is eradicated completely, other animals, plants or natural processes of growth and decay that relied upon the species can no longer function or exist, which creates a chain reaction with devastating results. Our actions as inhabitants and custodians of the earth have an unthinkably large impact on the earth - within the palms of our hands we hold the power to change our way of living and co-existing.

Art has the ability to strengthen these energy connections, and I hope that my art and creative workshops strengthen the connection between people, nature and the creativity inherent in everyone. I strive to live with compassion and courage to help create a world filled with more happiness and love.

• For Garden Route buyers, hand-delivery possible, depending on location and my schedule at the time.

RETURN POLICY 

• I take great care when making and packaging creative pieces, so hope that it would never be necessary, but should you be dissatisfied with your purchase once delivered, you are welcome to return or exchange the item(s) within 7 days of receiving it. Please ensure that the creative work is securely packaged for return, and note that I will only refund the full price of the item(s) and not the postage and packaging costs.

• Please reuse, repurpose or recycle the packaging used to protect your product during postage & delivery. Feel free to contact me if you need help to find a recycling depot in your area, or if you'd like some ideas about how to reuse the packaging.
