Selling on Hello Man
So you want to sell on Hello Man? Darn right you do. We're awesome.
We're also new. So new in fact, that you will need an invitation to sell on the site. Another thing you should know is that Hello Man is part of Hello Pretty.
Hello Man / Hello Pretty
Hello Man is a masculine version of Hello Pretty, listing only men's interest products. If your application is successful, you'll create your store on Hello Pretty, and we'll add your products to Hello Man. Think of it this way: You'll have one store, on Hello Pretty, but your products will be featured on both sites. So really, it's like getting two stores for the price of one. Score! When you have your invitation and have signed up, you will find that the user experience is still being slickified and frequently updated. Thanks for being patient and understanding that we're working hard to make this amazing.
The way Hello Man works is:
- You get to create and control your own store, and every aspect of it
- We don't hold on to any of your stock
- We don't prescribe your policies or pricing
- We don't insist on exclusivity or lock you in

We are extremely selective regarding sellers, as we want to ensure that we are able to promote the best of local design - thanks for understanding.
What will it cost?
Hold up. Remember what we said above about being brand new? This means that we're still figuring everything out, including our own costs, and these prices are liable to change in either direction.
There are two price options: the Starter and the Standard.

There's a 5% transaction charge on sales built into the commission charged, so we suggest that you work that into your products' prices. This is purely to cover the expenses incurred by Hello Man from the banks, and unrelated to the commission that we charge on Starter account sales. We currently support Paypal for international buyers.
How do sales get processed?
When someone makes a purchase from your store, you will immediately receive an email notification of the purchase. It will include all the order details, and give you a link to view the order on your account. At this point, payment has been made in full (through a secure payment gateway), so you can go ahead and process the order from your side, safe in the knowledge that it's been paid for. How do I get paid out for sales?
We do payouts once a week (every Tuesday), directly into your bank account. We charge sellers R8 per payout to defray the cost of our bank transaction fees. Please note that this is subject to change.
