This product can be worn as a neck or head scarf during winter or used as a sarong durine summer. Be creative with it.
Calico is a natural fabric because it does not go through many processes during the manufacture of the fabric it is therefore more sustainable than most fabrics. Lightweight and breathable.

We want to keep the policies of the shop as simple as possible. If we do not cover aspects under the policy here, the shop will use the Consumer Protection Act as a guide, please refer to this if there are any misunderstandings otherwise please contact us (or hello pretty) to make sure of any uncertainties before placing an order. This is a new store please be patient with and I will try to accommodate you as best as I can while we still learning to navigate this process ourselves.
With this said, if you do not like your product you can return it within a stipulated time frame at your own cost (below) and in the same condition it was received. There may be small administration cost (which we incur when processing orders using this online market place) deducted and the balance refunded to you. We are selling and buying through hello pretty online market place and this will also affect how smoothly the shop runs and the buying experience.
Thus please, bear in mind using the shop is an online process (therefore purchase is remote and the buyer is detached from the physical product) the consumer must be mindful that there are certain aspects which may influence the process and/or your level of satisfaction such as technology, administration, presentation of the product and lighting (eg. a physical product can look different to how it appears in a photograh); dispatching and delivery of the product from shop (the seller) to you (the consumer).
Hence, there are several considerations which influence the shopping experience which may be out of the sellers (our) control at a particular time in the event there is a glitch somewhere in the 'matrix' and therefore online shopping in general can at times be a small calculated risk, however we will always resolve whatever problem might arise.
Here are some details broken down for your ease of reference:
Shipping
We currently have two shipping options available within South Africa, Aramex and Pargo.
With Aramex:
- Once you place an order and payment is made through hello pretty, we will process the order and dispatch within a few days.
- We use a Store to Door Courier service with Aramex. Visit their website for additional information and search store to door service where you will find a list of FAQ's.
- The cost R99.99 to be more specific.
- It is an overnight service (or may take up to 72 hours depending on area of delivery such as high risk, rural or outlying etc.) and delivery is made to physical addresses only. Therefore, no P.O. Boxes, the courier does not deliver to post boxes.
- Ensure that addresses are exact as possible when completing contact or shipping information. If you are in a complex or office block be specific and give the street address with the details of the block or complex (of course with suburb, city and province details).
- Be available to accept the delivery (at the given address) or add additional information for an alternative person to accept the delivery on your behalf. Provide us with more than one contact number. We do not have direct contact with the driver so be as detailed as possible with information to ensure the driver can deliver your order timelessly.
- We will notify you to confirm order has been received, then processed and finally a notification once you have received it.
- Parcels can be tracked using the tracking number only after the courier has collected it for dispatch. The Aramex website has a place to track your parcel using the tracking number if you want to check this for yourself.
- We will endeavour to communicate with you every step of the order and shipping process. Communication is key and if you are unhappy for any reason make contact with us or the hello pretty team and they will get in touch with us.
With Pargo:
- This shipping option are for customers who want to collect at a specific collection point, 'click and collect'.
- The Hello Pretty team use's this as a shipping option and assist the designers and customers with the delivery service. It is integrated in their online service once you select this.
- The cost is R79. If the order is over 5kg additional charges will apply.
- The same rules apply as with Aramex, make sure you entering the correct information and selecting the correct collection point.
- When selecting this option as a shipping option please make sure to read all the information made available if this is your first time using Pargo. Otherwise you might have to pay additional shipping fees if you have provided incorrect information.

We do not want unhappy customers. If you do not like your purchase for any reason contact us within 7 days of receiving the order. Provided the product/s are still in the condition it was sent and received we will refund you (minus an administration fee). This is on the basis it reaches us within 14 days after receiving the order yourself. Courier fees will be at your own cost. We will then proceed with a refund or a credit. NB: please also see about the product for additional info on refunds.
About the Product
We specialise in snoods, a scarf sewn at both ends, basically the end product is a circular shaped scarf. Depending on the circumstance, we reserve the right to refuse refunds on orders where the customer did not read the description of the product correctly, that is places an order for snoods and expecting a regular open scarf. We will sell other types of scarves in the future as well. Each scarf has its own finishes and sizes may vary. We use different fabrics with different colours, textures and prints. Photography and lighting can affect the actual appearance of colour and texture of fabrics. When you order a scarf, you cannot add customisations since unless this is specified in the description and/or it is possible to make an alteration on the item you ordered, this will be at our discretion.
