About the designer
Welcome to Africa Made Only. A bespoke clothing brand based at the tip of Africa and born of the belief that everything that can be made here should be made here. Every piece we make is sewn by talented local tailors and seamstresses in South Africa and made from ethically sourced fabrics, from all corners of Africa - including Ghana, Ivory Coast, South Africa, Mali, Benin, Congo, Nigeria and Kenya.
Once we’ve found the finest threads, we ship them down to Cape Town, where we partner with local master tailors and seamstresses who nip and tuck them into shape. Our embroidery specialists then delicately apply the AMO logo and our locally printed label and branding is applied. We then deliver a bespoke AMO product to your door via our logistics partner UAfrica.
But, it doesn’t end there, all of our current online offerings can be customised, using one of 65 prints which are neatly packaged in our lookbook available on request. Feel free to visit our website and we can collaborate to make something bespoke just for you.
Shipping - We send all orders using door-to-door courier delivery and we charge a flat fee of R79 for all deliveries in South Africa and a flat fee of R149 internationally. Our product is bespoke and assembled in Cape Town so orders within Cape Town are usually delivered in 5 working days. Other major centres will be 7 working days. Outlying towns, regional areas and international can take between 10 - 14 working days respectively.
Returns - In this instance please understand that we will ask for you to cover the cost of the courier back to us. We will issue the exchange/return/refund once we have received the item and assessed its condition. Please note we have a 30 day returns policy from confirmation of delivery. Any returns post the 30 day period will not be honoured.
Refunds - If you decide that you no longer want the item then please note we can only issue a refund if the item is unused. Please note we have a 7 day refund policy from confirmation of delivery. Any refunds post the 7 day period will not be honoured. In this instance please understand that we will ask for you to cover the cost of the courier back to us. We will issue the refund once we have received the item and assessed its condition. When issuing a refund we will process the refund back to you using the same payment method which was used for the order. Please note that refunds to credit cards can take 7 days to reflect back in your account.
